Holiday celebrations are definitely in full swing in our household. And, I’m happy to be able to share this Christmas with family and good friends.
It has been a very rough year – what with this being the first Christmas since my Dad passed away… and a host of other difficult moments in 2008.
So, I just want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for being there with me through all the many different moments of my life this year – the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty. Although I may not share every detail of my life online, I know that I share enough with you all to be aware of the wonderful support and friendship that you give to me. Especially as you share of your own stories and parts of your life with me. So, for that and more, I am grateful.
And, whatever kind of year that you may have had in 2008, I hope that the coming year will bring you more joy and fulfillment.
With this, I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!
P.S. – Just wanted to say a quick thanks as well to everyone who mailed in holiday cards. Really, really appreciate it! As you can see, we’re proudly displaying them as part of our holiday decor in our home.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed yourself! I’m back in my own time zone today and trying to get settled in again. Now I just need to make it through New Year’s Eve and my birthday and I can exhale. LOL!
