It was a long weekend here - celebrating Adelaide Cup Day. I didn’t place any bets, watch any races, or wear any fun hats. I did, however, manage to go to the city twice.
First, to see the Northern Lights display (a lights show in North Terrace, in conjunction with the ongoing South Australian Arts Festival). Here’s a mosaic of my favourite shots from the (very hot!) evening -

We too strolled along North Terrace after Womadelaide finished. What a vibrant and beautiful place to be at the moment. I haven’t put up my photos yet. They turned out quite well considering I didn’t have my tripod with me.

And yeah - things are just sooo great here right now. In spite of the heat spell!
These photos aren’t all that great, but happy to have captured the memory anyway. With 2 kids, in that heat, plus the crowd, there was no way I could’ve managed with a tripod either. So mine’s all hand held too.
