Today

in Personal Stories

There are days in my life that I just want to mark with something. Anything. Just so that I’ll remember to remember.

So that one day, when I look back, I can tell myself that that day has been significant.

There are too many days that we end up forgetting.

Today, I want to remember.

And, sometime in the future, I’d like to look at this day and say that I have celebrated today in some way.

That’s a good goal to have. keeping a journal helps, I do it with prayer..I write what I am praying about and then a few months later re-visit those pages and see how God has worked in my life, and in the lives of those around me.

we all want to create something that unlike us - will survive forever. when we die, we want to feel that our life was full, that it wasnt wasted. I think u’re doing great job in that direction.

this post hits me as both very sad and also hopeful.

you are a very strong woman, whatever it is you are going through, i know you’ll rise above the emotional challenges.

rose: Yes, I am. :) Thanks for your kind words!

Morris: I just love journals. Don’t write as much as I used to, though.

Jo: Absolutely agree. And, thanks!

bea: It’s all good. :)
