		<description>I definitely think that being physically attractive makes a difference.  I decided to transform myself in grad school and decided to start wearing make-up.  I went to a cosmetic counter and got a make-over and also started dressing more professionally.  The attitude of the profs whom I worked with changed immediately.  I was accorded more attention and status.  Soon, my co-workers were even commenting on how &quot;put together&quot; I always was.</description>
