  1. I love the pic of you with the roses! Very pretty!

  2. Gorgeous photos. And this is my favourite lens, too!

  3. Hi Shai,
Aren’t your kiddies so sweet? Just love these photos. You’re getting so good at this. ;-)

    • Heather: Aw, thanks so much. I’m still learning and have a long way to go. But, I think I’ve definitely learned heaps from doing this 365 thing everyday.

  4. You’re so good in front of the camera and behind it Shai!!

    • Aw, thanks, Toni! I’ve been learning a lot over the last few months. Still a long way to go, but I’ve been surprised by my progress. Didn’t know I could actually do what I do! :-D

  5. Stunning!! SO jealous!! Gotta get some camera time in!

  6. Hi Shai!
I’m interested in getting the Sigma 30mm too.

I’m saving up for it now :)

  7. I like your photograph in sepia. (1st photo) I also have this lens, its great! But sometimes, “zooming with your feet” with this 30mm isn’t cut out for wide landscapes, or closeup shots in unreachable areas. I ended up bringing my D40 kit lens as backup everywhere I go. Im thinking of getting a Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 to replace the 30mm. Care to share your thoughts on this?

  8. you are right.. the Sigma 30mm is awesome. I also have the Nikon 50mm 1.8 but no so useful indoors because 50mm focal length is too far. The 30mm of the Sigma suits almost anything I want to shoot.
