The Movie Studio Well, I think it’s time for my second “Movie Studio” installment. Unfortunately, however, I haven’t really been watching a lot of movies lately. In February, I only managed two movies as such:

1) New Moon – This is the second part of the Twilight series. It’s the first time I actually went to the cinema all by myself again. I haven’t done this in a loooonnnggg time! But, I really wanted to try and catch this movie at the time, so I did. And, I have to say that I kinda liked it. As a whole, I somehow managed to enjoy this more than the first Twilight movie for some reason. Never mind that Robert Pattinson was hardly in the movie. Anyway, except I really think the ending was a bit lame. But, in terms of how it all flowed, I think it worked. I even liked some of the extra touches it had that wasn’t in the book. So yeah, I did find some entertainment value in this one.

Rating: 4/5

2) Sixteen Candles – Yes, I know. It’s an old, old film. I got the DVD from the library one day when I was extremely bored. I watched it and cringed most of the way through. But, I still watched it… And, I still sort of like the nostalgic feeling it gave me. Although I must say that I don’t think it’s one of the better movies that was made from that time/era. I’d much rather watch Pretty in Pink or Some Kind of Wonderful, methinks.

Rating: 2/5

So, there you go. My movie report / review from last month. I’m running out of time, but I’m hoping I can manage a bit of a better one for next month.

What about you? What movies have you seen lately? Anything that you’d like to recommend?
