Teaching and Learning Trackbacks

I’m preparing a short tutorial on using trackbacks over at my Web Logs site at About.com. I just did one on sending pings and I know that another question I get asked is on trackbacks.

And, I realised that I need a place to send people to send trackbacks. I don’t want to bombard anyone else with strange trackbacks, so I figured I’ll send of my readers here instead.

Anyway, if you found this blog entry through my About.com site, yes, this is where you test sending trackbacks, if you like. ‘Hope it works!

1 incomplete information.
Please where am I going wrong?

2 Shai Coggins 06.22.05 at 8:45 am: If the URL pasted is what you used, then it’s definitely wrong. You have to get the right trackback URL. Follow the instructions again.

10 Chris may 04.09.06 at 11:18 pm: I tried putting in the trackback URL for this article in a test post on my blog but nothing here is snowing up as of yet to indicate that the trackback went through.

Should the indication of the trackback be visible right away, or is there some caching on this page?

Should the trackback URL for this page change every time I reload it?
