Strawberry Jelly

Strawberry Jelly I’m not a jelly fan. I used to be when I was a kid, I think. But somehow, I’ve outgrown it. My hubby and baby boy like jellies, though. So, I bought a little strawberry packet. You know, the type that has a powdery consistency.

To prepare the jelly, I just followed the instructions that came with the packet. It basically involved boiling water then quickly dissolving the powder in the boiled water. I then poured the mixture in to small bowls.

Since I had fresh strawberries, I decided to chop them in to bite-sized pieces and added them in the mixture. I then put the concoction in to the fridge to set. It took about a couple of hours to get the jelly ready.

Once it’s set – there’s instant dessert! Oh, and yes, hubby and bub love their strawberry jelly served with vanilla ice cream. :-)
