Well, it looks like my days with WordPress are numbered. At least, with ShaiCoggins.com anyway.
You see, I’m currently using the WP Plugin PictPress for my Art Galleries in this site. I loved it when I found it. In fact, I loved it so much I even wrote about it here. But, ever since upgrading to the latest WP version (1.5), I can’t get any of my plugins to work – including another fave, WP Blacklist. I even tried the plugin WP Enclosures when I first considered podcasting. No luck either. That’s why I decided to use Blogger.com for my podcast instead.

It was a big change, 1.5, and plenty of people got left behind so don’t worry about that. As a plus, you get to try EE, right?
I’m intrigued by your expressed self Shai, across all your pages… been reading them and listened to a few pcasts. I have this intuition that is really spot most times. Too bad you’re clear across the world. We might have been friends!

Missy: Thanks for your feedback. It’s great to hear from you. And yeah, I’m loving EE at the moment. Still poking around to check it out, so I’m still holding off on a final verdict.
I still plan to use WP1.5. But, probably as a completely new installation. Maybe even in another host, to make it even cleaner. We’ll see.
And yes, so nice of you to say that we could’ve been friends in person. But then, nothing stops two people from becoming friends even though they’re half-way across the world, right? I checked out your blog and was quite intrigued myself. I have to admit, I don’t know how to make of it. Tough to sift through the fiction and the real.
I’m also curious to know why you decided on that particular topic. Hmmm…

Thanks so much. I wrote you back by email. My blog is about the massage parlor world, because that is where I “grew up” and where I live 80% of my life. I am not asian, but I work with many korean massage parlor girls. The asian massage parlor is very different than others, and I like the style and the understanding of nature and men that exists in an asian massage parlor. So much crap is written up in the media, the world is mis-guided. And the US, well the puritan roots that are showing are a real embarassment to many of us.
Anyway it’s like a blog in that I write freely on whatever, but it is also a chronicle because so much goes on that is mis-reported and mis-understood.

It’s too bad you’re having such problems with the plug ins. I was able to get this program plugged in where I can change keywords per each post, though it took me awhile to figure it out. You could go to their main page and leave them a message, just to see what they had to say first.

I see that you use ExpressionEngine. Is it better than the newest WordPress?
