What was just a simple plea for clarification, turned out to be an interesting online conversation about monitoring blogs, “ego feeds” and good public relations. It happened after I posted my “Confused” blog entry and Elisa Camahort (Worker Bees) and Scott Rafer (Feedster) posted comments.
Now, Elisa has more to say about this. Good one.
This sort of thing shows what a great tool blogging is… for opening communication lines, not just between colleagues/peers, but also among businesses, customers, organisations, members… It’s definitely not about the hype, but the practice.
Anyway, just like Elisa, I’d like to give an extra hat tip to Feedster for communicating with us regarding issues that concern users — even if it may seem tiny. If only more businesses and organisations do this! In any case, I hope that they do “make good” on their word about fixing the issues regarding feeds.
