Meet Mercy and Kim

Nope, this is not a spinoff of an Aussie TV comedy. This is still all about this project.

Anyway, the next 2 readers who participated in the project are Mercy (of The Sacred Frosted Cheerio) and Kim (of Scrappin’ Cabinet). I ‘met’ both of them when they left a comment here. In fact, Kim contributed to the blog entry, On Becoming a Good Blogger. Mercy found me through the Genuine Blog, while Kim found me through ProBlogger.

So, what do I like about Mercy’s blog? First, the title. Very creative, I thought. It often makes me wonder what makes people decide on their titles. Blog titles often say something about the blogger and/or the blog itself. I know Mercy’s not just praying over her breakfast cereal, so I can only imagine why she named her blog as such (unless she wrote about it and I couldn’t find it :-)). In any case, Mercy’s definitely got a knack for cute, catchy titles - including blog entry titles. Anyway, another thing I like about her blog is the writing. She’s good. She can make mundane things sound really interesting.

Now, on to Kim. Kim’s blog is also very easy for me to like. It’s about scrapbooking - and I just fell in love with this craft. So, when I found her blog, I immediately subscribed. Apart from the topic, a few things that caught my fancy: The design - really nice; The writing - really nice too; and The resources and ideas - wowsers. And yes, I wish I can sit down and have coffee with her too.
