From language to computers they just seems way ahead of their time in comparison to when I was a child. I'm just glad they still enjoy good 'ol pictures books! Who doesn't love a good book? We have family members come visit us from Poland and they speak 3-4 languages. Eek! Also, the part about finding out what is important to kids and writing about it was very illuminating. I think maybe I've been conentrating on what I think is interesting without considering what a 5 year old would think is interesting--often two very different things.
