Do kids nowadays still play games like ‘Truth or Dare?’
Did you ever play these games as a pre-teen or teen?
Usually, a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ came with spin-the-bottle or something similar. Remember watching that spinning bottle (or pen or whatever) — and hoping like mad that it didn’t point to you?
Well, guess what? It’s pointing at your direction now. And, the dreaded question comes up: “Truth… or Dare?”
If you choose TRUTH, then answer this:
What’s your BEST childhood memory?
If you choose DARE, then take this challenge:
Whether you think of yourself as a creative person or not, declare at least ONE creative act that you believe you can do. (Say: “I use creativity in….” or “I am a creative…”)
Or, if that’s tough, then choose at least one creative act that you wish you can do. (Say: “I would like to be creative in…”)
Share your responses via comments or on your own blog.
Or, if you prefer to write it down privately, that’s cool too. Grab your journal or notebook and play.
So, what will it be? Truth or Dare?

I chose truth
One of my favorite childhood memories is a little odd. My sister and I invented this game with my father called “Bazarro”. He was a monster who had to try and catch us, but he could only crawl around on the floor. My sister and I got to run the ‘regular’ way. When “Bazarro” would catch us he killed us with being tickled. We thought it was the best think next since apple pie

Kari: Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Great to have such memories, huh? Maybe you’ll play it with some kids one day too.
But, truth for you - You’re very creative in many other ways too. Photography springs to mind. Heh. But, no fun in daring you to do that, eh?
Junnie: Yes, sample, sample!

Hi Shai,
Right now I’m feeling totally brain dead. I hope you don’t mind, I’m sharing this as a cool journal writing prompt on my blog tonight. So, I may get back to you with my response some time this week. Lol.

Hi Shai,
Someone already left a comment about my entry last night on my blog. You might want to check it out so you can include it in anything else you have in mind.

Heather: Thanks again for sharing that.
Barbara: Just pretty much playing ’spin the bottle’. When the bottle points to you, you get asked whether you would rather to say the truth or to do a dare. Then, you get asked a question (for truth) or given a challenge (for dare).

dare!
I would like to be creative in cooking. While I like to experiment with dishes, I wouldn’t count those experimenting as creativity because they end up demotivating me more. Haha! Failed attempts happen more often than not!

Toni: Great dare! Now, I’m curious: What do you consider as ‘being creative in cooking’? Coming up with your own recipes? Being able to innovate on existing recipes? Baking desserts? It’ll be interesting to know what you think!

Truth.:-)
I left my bike parked out in the street because I went inside my friend’s house to play. When I went out of the house, my bike was gone!
Turned out my dad hid my bike in our backyard to teach me a lesson.

Bebang: Hmmm… interesting childhood memory! Don’t worry, I’m not analysing it.
