Hello, 2006!

Happy 2006! Welcome to 2006, everyone!

Yes, I’m back from the holidays. Actually, I’ve been back here in Adelaide since the 29th (3 days earlier than planned) — but, I’ve been catching up on rest. Travels and holidays do take their toll. Plus, you won’t believe how my inboxes look like right now. :-p

Anyway, meeting friends and family was definitely the highlight of my trip. But, unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet everyone that I was hoping to catch up with. Yeah, some plans to meet with a few online friends that I’ve been hoping to see in person didn’t materialise. While I did meet the sweet Jayvee twice (Thanks for the Coffee Bean treat!), I missed out on meeting Melissa/AnP, Glo, Connie, Bea, and a few others. A mini b5 gathering would’ve been great. I’m definitely holding out for a “next time”.

Another biggie for me during the holidays was my foodfest galore. I’ve eaten nearly everything on my wishlist. Yay.

Oh - and yes - the shopping! The only things that I didn’t get (and I really wanted) were nice shoes. Ha.

There were a few downers, admittedly. But, I’d rather not dwell on those, thanks. It’s the new year and I’d rather focus on the positive.

What about you? How did the holidays treat you?

In any case, here’s wishing you all a very happy and wonderful year ahead.

Happy New Year to you, Shai. Glad you are home safe and sound. We had a great holiday, but as usual, I am so glad the hoopla is coming to an end and the kids are almost back in school. Now, to pack up all those Christmas decorations….UGH.

Yes, it was too short a time - but I’m glad that there was an opportunity at all! :-)
Fudge and Dawn send their regards to “Camera.”

Am looking forward to a next time, too. :-)
