What a packed day! But, in-between work, chores, and errands, I managed to squeeze in a quick trip to the shops to buy some crafty goodness and a new shimmery scarf. Plus, I fitted in half an hour to stop by the salon to get a much-needed haircut.
Since I work from home, I very rarely get the chance to go out on a week day. Especially not on shopping and salon trips - no matter how briefly. Anyway, this sort of thing always puts me in a girly mood, so I thought I’d spread the fun by sharing these stuff about scarf-tying.
By the way, I must confess that I never knew how to tie/wear scarves properly until a few years ago. I always found scarves beautiful - but didn’t know how to use them before. Well, I’m still no expert but at least I can buy them now and actually be able to wear them. Not just hang them in my wardrobe!
Anyway, here you go for anyone else who might be interested…

Oh, this is great! Hula girl that I am, I don’t go anywhere without my hula sarong, but because it’s winter (-32C with the windchill right now!), I’m using it as a scarf. It’s nice and warm! But when I go places where I take off my coat, I like to keep my sarong/scarf on. It’s nice to find new ways to wear it. Thanks!

I did this this evening but I must admit that my huge, bulky, wool scarf did not look nearly as cute as your results! Oh well.
It’s a good thing I tried something different, though. I was wrapping that bad baby around my neck three times because of the length. It’s a new scarf but still, you’d think that spending my whole life in a snowy area would have taught me a little something about wearing winter clothes, lol.

Hi Shai,
I have no idea why, but I just don’t like wearing scarves, unless it’s winter and I need to keep warm. I have several lovely scarves, but they just smack of being old to me. Weird, hey? I just can’t bring myself to wear them. Most of them are from my mother, some are from the family. I have tried, but it’s just not me. You make it look good in your photos, though.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve learned something new today. I never knew how to tie a scarf the right way, now I know. I’m going to look fabulous.
