First of all, thanks to everyone who wished me well due to my illness - by leaving comments here, by emailing me, by calling/sending a message, etc. Things did get worse before they got better. I actually ended up with “drips” (IV) in the hospital for a day. I’m still not fully recovered, but at least I’m able to work bit by bit.
In fact, I’m actually “working” as I’m blogging this entry. It’s my first entry trying out the brand new blog client, Windows Live Writer. I’m reviewing the software and looking at what it’s all about. So far, so good. I’m really loving the “Web Preview” feature. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a blog client that does a proper ‘preview’ function like WLW’s. It’s really cool.*
I’ll be writing more about Windows Live Writer over at Weblogs @ About.com. So, if you’re interested, just watch out for it there. I won’t be going on about it here. Well, at least I don’t think I will.
Apart from getting myself back in to full health - and working when I’m able to - things are pretty much on the quiet side of things. Well, as quiet as quiet can be in my book anyway.
* Turns out WLW won’t publish to EE properly. It says “published” on WLW - but it refuses to show up here. Yes, even though everything seems to have been set-up properly. I’m also currently having trouble using WLW in my other blogs. So yeah, so far, I’m NOT impressed. ![]()

So glad you all better now. Oh yuck, fancy getting that crook, you poor thing. Thanks for sharing the tech stuff. It means little to me, but I appreciate your views, anyway.
Good to know you’re feeling better!
I am glad you are on the upswing - I have been really worried about you! Welcome back to the world.
Glad to see you are back and your feet and on the mends! We missed you!
Heather, Sasha, Christina, and Reclusivegirl: Thanks so much for all your well wishes. I’m hoping that this time, I’m really just on the way to getting better and better. I hate being so sick for so long. Ugh. I’m looking forward to getting back to the swing of things. Again, thanks.
You might like to read this in relation to WLW. If you are using MoveableType you must set the password in the programme itself.
