It’s 52 Weeks of Blog Community project time again. This week, it’s another 52WoCer-inspired task, courtesy of Kari. She just suggested that we all hold some kind of contest or blog raffle/drawing in our blogs.
What should your contest/blog raffle be about? It really is up to you. Usually, the simpler it is, the better. Just offer a prize, ask people to join (usually, by leaving a comment), then decide how to award a winner or two (random drawing or best entry, etc). It’s up to you how long you wish your contest to run. I suggest a minimum of 2 weeks (maximum 1 month?), if you want us to help you promote it.
Anyway, once you have your contest blog post up, leave the URL in the comment below and you’ll be part of this week’s task. This way, you can start promoting your contests too.
In the next few days, I’ll be sharing some interesting resources on holding contests and raffles on your blog. And yes, I’ll be posting my own contest/raffle that’s totally separate from 52WoC.
I look forward to finding out all about your contests. And, please remember that this task is the last one for Virtual Party #5. I know we just held Party #4… and that I haven’t even shared the prizes for Party #5 yet… But hey - I will get all caught up!

Yeah I’ve been thinking about a craft themed giveaway for my second anniversary of this blog. Just getting some prizes together so this challenge will help give me shove to actually hold the giveaway.
