Been trying to work on this community project idea since May 2007. I’ve conceptualised, planned, drafted, and re-drafted some more… But, I know that in order for anything to be useful, I actually have to execute the idea.

So, here we are. 52 Weeks. One full year to engage in community work.

Now what?

Once a week, I’ll post a community-driven project. It’s up to you if you want to take part or not. If you do, please let me know either via comment or via email (shaicoggins AT gmail DOT com).

Then what?

I’ll write highlight posts, linking to you (and other applicable blogs), whenever possible. Once a month, we’ll celebrate these community efforts with a virtual party of sorts.

Can you suggest a community task or idea?

As a sponsor, we’d be able to thank you by: 1) Posting a permanent link to your site/URL of choice in this blog entry; 2) Will also create a 52 Weeks Sponsor Page, if we have enough interested parties involved (3 or more sponsors); 3) Posting a “prize sponsors” text with relevant links in monthly parties and highlight posts. Since I want to give only the best type of gifts to my readers and the participants of this project, I don’t plan on accepting all offers. I intend to choose only the best types of offers.
