Adelaide Fringe 2006 - Photo Collage

The Adelaide Fringe 2006 has officially started. The Fringe and the Festival of Arts happen every even numbered years here and they’re great. Two years ago, I didn’t really get involved, although I did participate in an art exhibit then, as part of a local group exhibit in my council area.

This year, I managed to go to the Fringe opening night parade/party (see photos) the other night. Definitely worth checking out. I think it was the most “crowded” event I’ve ever attended here. :-)
I haven’t really booked many shows just yet, but I’m off to watch Ross Noble (who’s often part of Spicks and Specks). He’s a British comedian (a Geordie, I was told) who’s married to an Aussie.

Yes, yes, I know I said that I’m not much in to Aussie comedies and dramas. Lately, however, I’m getting more than just a couple of chuckles from Spicks and Specks and The Glass House. And - I’ve even started watching Home and Away. Aaaccckkk! Shhhhh. Please don’t tell anyone!

Next thing you know, I’ll be admitting that I’ve started watching Big Brother. Yikes. Please stop me!

Maybe I am just becoming more and more Aussie-fied. Ha. :-D
