If you're a mum/dad, what kind of creative activities do you do with your kids?

Toilet paper rolls are my best craft friends. Add cotton wool balls and they are sheep. Add some folded up coloured paper and they are birds. Thread them together with wool and they are an articulated snake/caterpillar/worm. They are cheap, plentiful and you are limited only by your imagination.

Love your ideas! Do you have photos to share?
OK. We really gotta organise a Monday crafty meet-up. You & I work on something, while we leave the kids to their own thing. Give them plenty of toilet rolls. What do you say?

Check my blog post here – http://flamehair.blogspot.com/2007/05/toilet-roll-craft.html for my round up of all things toilet roll related. I think a group craft session would be great fun and I’m sure we have enough supplies between us to keep all the kids happy for hours.
