First Month Back On The Job

Wow. I can’t believe that a month has already passed since I started my job as a part-time psychologist. And yes, I’m still alive, well and generally in good spirits.

It has been a very exhausting month. But, so far, so good. I started picking up case work, attending several meetings, meeting a lot of interesting new people, and basically getting the hang of things.

When my good friend Aileen asked me if I’m happy doing what I’m doing now in my “other life” (”this life” being my online life), I replied:

One of the things that I like about being “out there” again is the fact that I’m able to live a life outside my cosy, online world. I like the challenge and the change. It’s tough, but I do believe that I’m doing the right thing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t do it.

In short: Yes, I’m still glad I made the decision to practice as a psychologist again.

I’m learning and growing in many ways. And, I’m excited about so many things. Yes, that includes my psychologist job!
