It's me again. :) Before I end up reading your blogs the whole day (hehe), I must quickly send this note now. Hubby and I don't have kids yet so it's also easier to go out on dates. And yup, you can still have dates even at home! What we do is plan a DVD Marathon and call it a "date". We hunt for old DVDs (a favorite is "The Godfather Series") buy foodie "goodies" (junk food allowed!), enough to last 2-3 films in a row . Now, that's really a cool date minus the expenses of sit-down dinner and movie tickets. Then we can stay up all night discussing the plots, characters, and by the time we've exhausted the topics, we are planning again on what movies to watch next. :) More happy dates for you! It is a nice option if you can find the right people for this, and a lot less expensive than hiring a sitter. No matter what the trade-off (yes, including nasty pregnancies, difficult deliveries, post-baby body, lack of dates, etc)... I have never regretted having kids. Not even for a second! They're my pride and joy. I don't think I will ever be half as happy as I am now without them. :-) But yes, the marriage ends up taking a bit more work. Like everything else (chores never end! ;-)). And, yes, I do believe that the kids have also enriched my marriage in many ways. So yeah... :-) Kristyn: Kids are wonderful!
