How do you tell someone that you like and care for them without actually saying the words? What are ways that you communicate your feelings towards people who are special to you?
Some ideas that immediately come to mind include:
1) Giving gifts.
2) Asking them how they are.
3) Keeping in touch. / Regular communication.
4) Offering help.
5) Spending time with them.
6) Giving compliments.
7) Active listening.
Encouragement.
Do you have other thoughts and suggestions?

Giving importance to things that they value no matter how trivial they may seem.

Eagerly sharing whatever little you have although you know they have much.

Hi Shai,
I find that doing something for them, say their chores, or some other job they are supposed to do, is an excellent way of showing you care without saying so. I know I feel so loved when the family take over some little job I’m supposed to take care of.

Giving them a hug. Anticipating their needs (like a cup of coffee or a glass of water). Giving them a phone call. Waiting for them and their stories even if you’re tired. Holding their hand. Asking them to take care of themselves.

Yes I agree with you, the points that you mentioned are very great as non verbal signs of sympathy. Motivating and making comfortable is also great for your list.
