Hi, Nicola. Wow – you’re really organised! Well done, you. Hope you enjoy the holidays – with or without a tree. BTW, I don’t think I’ve ever bought a “real” Christmas tree. Although my in-laws used to get them when we visit them for the holidays. It’s lovely!

When I was growing up, we used to put the tree up the first week in December, too. Now that my family and I live in different places, it’s usually the closest time to Christmas we’re all together. Last year, we didn’t decorate until December 23rd! Hopefully we can get to it a bit earlier this year.

I’ve got my international cards ready to go, will post them today and get onto my 52WoC swap asap too, deadline for reasonably priced postage is this Saturday.

I would have got a tree this weekend, but they’re not on sale yet. I always have a real one, they should be on sale next weekend so I’ll be straight out to get one! I won’t get to enjoy it for very long though, I’m housesitting till about the 10th Dec and then I leave on the 22nd for christmas away… hmm… I may decide not to get one yet. I will certainly decorate in some way next weekend.
