Even though I’ve been using the bus regularly for the last 8 months or so, I never thought about looking at the back of my red or blue bus tickets. Bleh. I mean, they’re bus tickets, right?
Well, thanks to another Adelaide-based blogger* who wrote about them, I found out about these random quotes printed on the back of these bus tickets. And, instead of musing about the quotes (or adding phrases like ‘… in bed’ at the end of each quote like the Adelaide blogger did), I decided to make my own bus-tickets-inspired creation in the form of a collage in my visual journal:
Some of my favourite quotations from this collection include:
- “To know one’s ignorance is part of knowledge.”
- “You can’t get anywhere unless you start.”
- “Each day comes just once in a life time.”
I wonder what else I’m missing in my day-to-day life, just because I never thought about looking in the first place?
* I can’t seem to remember which one for the life of me. I visited links and did searches to no avail. Please feel free to let me know if it’s you - or someone you know. Thanks.

How cool that your transport department even bothers to put daily quotes on their tickets. Perth tickets are pretty plain boring. It is amazing what we overlook in our daily lives, though. Great entry.

I reckon it’s something you can look forward to whenever you board the bus and get the single ride ticket or when you buy the multiple ride thingie. Or should I say Kuya Jem will perhaps?
Hehehe.

Heather: Thanks! It *is* a cool thing when I realised they were there.
Sasha: Jem’s not taking public transport *yet*. Maybe next year…
Junnie: Thank you. Hmmm… How do you do that (just look at them and get introduced)?…
Jhoanna: Hey - thanks for finally saying HI! I visited your blog and it looks cool. ‘Love your creations. Will definitely be checking you out again.
