But, I learned that a happy mum/wife will equal to happy kids/husband. It fell by the wayside as my focus shifted from being on me and my needs to those of others (my husband and children mainly.) I'm not entirely ready to go back to that way of being before (it was pretty selfish after all) but I do feel a need to reconnect with what makes me happy.
