‘Just got back from a long weekend trip to Hobart, Tasmania. The place is just full of breathtaking landscapes, amazing scenery, and quaint little villages. Even though I only managed to spend a total of 2.5 days travelling around the area (not including the trip from and to Adelaide), it definitely didn’t disappoint. I just wish I had more time so I could’ve visited Cradle Mountain too, among other places.

Anyway, here are just a few snapshots that I’d like to share…

Historic Port Arthur

Richmond Bridge

Cascade Brewery

Your pictures bring back many happy memories of our honeymoon in Tassie so many years ago. Thanks for sharing! :)

Really nice pictures … I like looking at older ‘medieval’ type of structures … See any creatures on your trip?

PS.. like the Supergirl Shirt … I’ve got a copy of “Big S” shirts myself!

Beautiful structures! Lovely scenery! Did you make sketches of those too? :)

BTW, I couldn’t post a comment to eWritelife. It says I’ll have to log in to WordPress?

Jean: Nice place for a honeymoon. Glad you like the photos. :-)

HART: Thanks! I didn’t really hunt for Tassie Devils – but I’ve seen ‘em before. ;-) Oh, and I actually feel guilty as the Super shirt is for my son. But, I’m loving it. :-)

Connie: Thank you. Unfortunately, I didn’t really feel like I had enough time to do any sketches during my trip. I wish I would start practicing plein air sketches though! On eWriteLife – I had the thing switched off now so you can comment away.

Lirechi: Thank you for letting me know. No need to apologise. Your English is way better than my Chinese. :-)

hi shai — i’m going to Tazzy sometime in May on business. Looking forward to the trip. Your pictures make me look forward to seeing the place! I may have a chance to go to Melbourne as well. We’ll see! I wonder when I’ll be sent to Adelaide so we can finally meet in person!
