It’s been… uh… nearly 2 decades ago since I last went camping. You know, in a real tent and all that. I used to love it. But, the operative words here are ‘used to’. I’m not quite sure if I’m still any good at this sort of thing.
Well, for the next 3 days or so, I’m going to find out if I can still ‘rough it’. It’s exciting, but scary too. Especially since I’d have a one-year-old baby boy who’ll be doing this for the first time ever, as one of my camping companions.
Anyway, in case you don’t know yet, the second episode of FreshWave.TV is now airing. It’s all about glassblowing featuring Jacq Knight, a glass artist from Canberra, Australia.
Also, the 4th, 5th and 6th podcast shows are now up at Shai in 60 Seconds. I talked about unwinding, my geeky delights, and indie music in these podcasts.
OK. Off to get ready for camp now…

Have a great time! I remember how I enjoyed going on camping retreats when I was young. Now, I feel like I’ve lost the excitement of camping, but it seems like you still have it. So I think you’ll enjoy it very much.

I was just thinking it has been a while since I have camped out. People just get busier as they get older and don’t have the time or energy most of the time.
