Yes, I know… I have been neglecting Studio Notes lately. You see, between my hectic Teaching Practicum and my regular life stuff (you know, the kids, the house, the chores, and such)… plus some of my part-time writing/blogging gigs… I’ve been busy trying to restructure my current favourite project KIDoosh…
So, you can see why I do not have much room for a lot of other things (ah, how I miss reading novels and watching movies — and sleeping!).
But, even though I haven’t been blogging here all that much, it doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten you all Studio Notes readers and friends.
That’s why I thought I’d take in a quick breather and post the final 52 Weeks of Blog Community. w00t! w00t!
Right you are.
Ring the bells. Sound the sirens. Make some noise.
We’ve finally reached our 52nd and final task for 52WoC!
Now, what do we do?
I’ve actually thought and thought and thought (and thought some more) about what I’d like our last act as 52WoCers to be. Tough.
Then, I thought: Why not just find a way to celebrate 52WoC as a whole… as a blogging community project?
So yes, for this final task, I encourage ALL of you who had ever participated in 52WoC (be it just one task or more regularly)… to share with us (via comments and/or your blog)… What’s the one thing that you like most about taking part in 52WoC?
You can share a favourite task… a favourite friend (or two?!) that you met through 52WoC… a favourite result of your joining 52WoC…
It’s up to you.
Just let us know at least ONE thing that drew you in to 52WoC. It would really, really be appreciated if you can take part in this!
And yes, I’m keeping the other tasks open still: 52WoC #51 – Future Community Projects and 52WoC #50: By Special Request. So, if you’ve missed those two tasks, you’re welcome to join in still.
We will be doing a final round-up of participants (and a series of giveaways/parties for all participants for the last few tasks for our final 52WoC Virtual Party — remember, I’m earmarking 10 prizes for 10 winners!)… in the next month or so.
Looking forward to your participation, everyone!

Wow, 52 entire weeks of blogging community! Certainly the element of community in general was one of my favorite parts about the project. It’s so fun to see how many different directions tasks can take with various individuals. Love that! Feeling like you are part of something is always motivating.
Another thing that comes to mind is when specific tasks encourage me to explore new grounds. This was the case with the video post task. I’d never really tried to do anything with iMovie before, so it was neat to try something new!
I hope you get a mini break to watch a movie and read a good book soon. I snuck in a couple of movies and some reading on my rare weekend off and it was so nice to have that time

I think I most enjoyed learning about other bloggers. It was fun, when I could join in, meeting other people and seeing what the task inspired in them. Thanks. It’s been loads of fun.

I’ve loved getting to know some of the most friendly, lovely, multifaceted, generous, and genuine people I’ve ever met through this project. Many of the other participants of this endeavour have become very good and cherished friends.
I’ve also enjoyed being pushed beyond my previous borders. The vlog was a big task for me, and making it showed me that it was another fun thing I could do on my personal blog.
And since we’re being completely honest, Shai, I loved having the 52WoC as my go-to place when I didn’t have a clue what to blog about! Your tasks gave me some awesome ideas.
Thank you, and thanks to all the other participants for a memorable and catalyst-for-growth period of my blogging life! xoxo

It must of been fun getting a blog on the 27th year of your life…or which year was it?

Getting inspiration for blogging through the range of activities/tasks has definitely been the number one thing that’s kept me going right to the end (though admittedly not partaking in every task), as well as getting to see other people’s take on tasks.
Unfortunately my hosted blogging has come to an end, as seeing the credit card payment come out each month and knowing I wasn’t using the site as much as I should meant I had to make the decision to cancel the account. It’s not much each month, but it adds up to almost $100/yr! But standby, I may revive my original Inblognito blog over at blogsome yet
Well done Shai, for seeing this project through the end! The amount of work you have done has been amazing and I’ve loved the couple of prizes I’ve won throughout the past 18 months.
