It’s our second-to-the-last 52 Weeks of Blog Community task! Yes, my blogging buddies… We’re almost there! This project will soon cease – and I’m both sad and excited about it. Part of me, of course, feels relieved that we all managed to stick to this over the last 2 years. And, I feel like I’ve gotten to know a lot of Studio Notes readers and friends through this project. That’s why I am a bit sad too. Sad, that this amazing journey is almost coming to an end.
With this in mind, I thought for this task (52WoC #51), I thought I’d ask you all if you have any ideas/suggestions on possible future community projects that we can do together. You can come up with as many ideas/suggestions as you wish. And yes, each idea/suggestion you have will give you ONE entry to our Final 52WoC Virtual Party Giveaway.
I must admit, though, I’m not sure whether or not I’d do another project soon – if at all. But, I’d like to find out from you all – in true 52WoC fashion – if it is worth pursuing more community projects in the future. So, there you go.
Oh, and yes, I’m keeping 52WoC #49: By Special Request task open for now. Hopefully, it might encourage more of you to join in.
Whether you’ve never tried a 52WoC task before or you’ve dabbled in one or two tasks, please come and take part in our last few community tasks. It’ll be great to have you around!
Anyway, I look forward to reading your future community project ideas/suggestions…

Ah how sad it is all coming to an end. But I have to admit it has caused me more guilt than joy these last few months. I simply haven’t had the time or focus to do the tasks and even the ones that I could have done I have forgotten about once I click away from your site. And that’s made me feel bad because I have enjoyed being a part of this and I haven’t wanted to be a part of its’ downfall.
Future occasional 52WoC style tasks? I always find a mini swap works well to bring people together. Or everyone sharing knowledge by contributing their favourite of a specific thing (a recipe, review of a book or film, etc)

Wow we’ve come a long way since starting 52WoC! I remember when we started I had still been a bit of a newcomer to the city I now call home. Time flies!
Future tasks – hmmmmm. I like Melissa’s idea about favorite contributions. After my secret santa fell through I don’t have too much faith in swaps though
What about doing some sort of ‘traveling’ post project? The original post could debut here at the studio and a reader would then repost it on their blog. Somewhere in the post directions it would instruct the blogger to link back here to the original post so we could all track how far around the world the post travels
Since the participants tend to be female from my observations we could call it The Sisterhood of the Traveling Post – LOL!

I’m all for anything that encourages more posting at one’s own website – possibly because I’m a bit lax about it
hehe. And we can get a bit fatigued by all the meme’s (is that the correct term?) and tagging for participation that goes around, but some form of posting challenge could/would be fun and interesting. Maybe something a challenge to blog about 7 topics in 7 days or getting people involved in things like wordless wednesdays and similar (I think we might have even had a 52WoC like this already, but we could revive it or do something similar). All this is sort of in line with Melissa’s idea about sharing knowledge as well – sharing books we love, movies we’ve seen (whether love/hate!), recipes we wouldn’t be without, and the experiments that may have been successful or otherwise, talking about our crafts and hobbies, maybe posting more about our locale (for those who don’t mind sharing it!) so we can get to know each others surroundings more. Love Kari’s idea too – Sisterhood of the Travelling Post would be heaps of fun!
Hope these are some good ideas to help engage people’s thoughts and spark some other ideas too

I totally love all the previous suggestions. Mine are: guest posting for another participant’s blog, interview another participant and posting it on our blog, and more photo posts – I love those!
