Well I guess I've already given you my idea ;) hehe. However, seeing as I have been such a bad 52WoC participant lately, I had a think and came up with another idea. How bout a book club week? I am finding it near impossible to find a decent book to read at the moment! It would be awesome if people could share their all time favourite or a recent great read (or several!). We could come up with a "52WoC Top Ten (or however many) books to read" list between us all. I also love the audio post idea too. And I have the link to the flickr thing on my own blog, I'm paying through the nose for wireless internet in my hotel right now, so if you need the link I'll flick it through later :-)

I'm a new blogger, and my blog is not personal but about my community. While I want to increase traffic, I have been slowly getting my blog out there, first among friends, to get feedback as to tone, etc. Also, I'm slowing my way into it as I learn the ropes, but make sure that I'm consistently posting. That said, I would like to get more comments as I see comments as integral to what I'm trying to do for my community and with my blog.

Here's an idea I had, but have not yet implemented. It will take me some time to figure it out! The idea is its own "mashup" of two things I've seen: the meme where you answer some questions with a flickr photo search (I'm not sure of where I saw that so I could better explain -- it may have been here or from a link through here, but I can't find it); and Scott Berkun's innovation exercise where you come up with 40 random words, then using 3 of them come up with an innovative, creative, possibly bizarre product or service. So I was thinking of coming up with __ random words (what makes most sense for this?), doing a flickr photo search for them and creating a mosaic, then asking readers to come up with a business or service for the community that is borne of 3 of the photos.

Good one Toni! I'm always a fan of running a contest or drawing on my blog though it's been quite awhile. I'm going to have to think on this one for some more ideas!

Great idea! Here's my suggestion: Audio posts! So we can hear those beautiful voices. And we learn a thing or two about how to do that.
