1) Let’s Get Mini-mized!
Yes, it’s my alter-ego in mini-mized Lego format.
Inspire-Girl, anyone? Heh.
You can also Mini-Mize You.

2) Complete a Sketchbook!
It took me almost two years to complete this sketchbook (I titled it “The Joy of Being…”), but I finally got there. I started it in October 2005, just after I started my ‘day job’ at the time in Psychology. I had a long commute back then - nearly 2 hours each way (almost 4 hours a day!). So, I tried to sketch on the bus and at the bus stops, whenever possible. But, I still didn’t do it often enough. I actually filled up more than half of this sketchbook this year. Because I really wanted to complete it finally.
And, now, it’s done. It’s always bittersweet to part with something that I’ve been carrying for months. As a “farewell gesture”, I decided to design the cover.
Now, I’ve got two moleskins to finish now (and maybe I can design funky covers on them too!) -
3) Get Gocco!
A few days ago, I told you about Gocco. What I didn’t mention was that I actually placed an order for a Gocco set around that time. From an Aussie who’s based in Japan. And, a couple of days ago, the package arrived. Yep. It came really, really fast. I was very impressed.
Now, I’m itching to give it a go. I’ve been doodling ideas and concepts whenever I get a break. But, I’m still not quite sure when I’d feel brave enough to commit one of my works as a print.

Oh the Gocco looks interesting! I really like your sketchbook cover :)I would like to get more work done on my memoir, design a new journal cover, and make some sort of wall art for my new home (too bad I can’t draw!) LOL!

Hi miss shai!
I’m new here and had fun reading your recent posts. Bad thing I’m not that cool in painting, drawing and such. Maybe digital art would somehow do.

Kari: Thanks! And, hey - who says you can’t draw? I think everyone can.
Looking forward to finding out more about your projects. Hope you’d share photos!
Quincy: Awww… you’re making me feel old by calling me Miss Shai. It reminds me of my teaching days. Heh. Anyway, THANKS for saying hello. I visited your blog and I enjoyed getting to know you a little more too. Thanks for linking up. And, for the kind words!
